About this event

The Australian Technology Investment Roadmap - Where will it lead? Can Australia do it alone?

In September, Energy and Emissions Reduction Minister Angus Taylor announced the two purposes of the Government’s ‘bottom up’ Technology Investment Roadmap: (1) to encourage greater private sector investment in low-emissions energy technologies and (2) to help Australia prepare for the Glasgow Climate Change Conference.

EPIA now brings together a focussed panel discussion with prominent industry leaders led by Grant King, a member of the Government’s Technology Investment Advisory Council.

Join EPIA’s first post COVID-19 event in Sydney where you’ll be able to ask questions of an expert panel. This is not ‘another webinar’; meet with your industry colleagues in a Covid-safe setting to discuss the topical conclusions from the LET roadmap. You’ll receive enormous value from attending this event in view of the importance of technology and innovation to the Australian economy.

Panel includes:

  • Grant King, Technology Investment Advisory Council
  • Dr Adi Paterson, ANSTO
  • Monique Miller, CEFC
  • Daniel Walton, AWU
  • Phil Hodgson, Calix

The Institute is an apolitical, not-for-profit, energy policy body.

It provides a mechanism by which all stakeholders in Australian energy may collaborate on risks and concerns impacting on energy finance, production, supply and export, where those risks may not have been fully addressed by existing industry organisations.

It acknowledges all environmental concerns as well as the paramount interest of the public in having access to affordable, clean and secure energy.
